Guests are expected to care for the property. Guests agree to notify owner of any accidental damage. Damage costs are the guests’ responsibility. PLEASE Drive at a max of 10 MPH when entering the Private Road (Dirt Road) This is our #1 Neighboar Complaint. 2. THIS IS NOT AN EVENT/FILM/PHOTO LOCATION , if you wish to inquire about our film or photo shoot/family portrait pricing and wedding packages please do send us a message. 3. No Pets Allowed, for service dogs please show documentation. Make sure Service Dogs are brought with their own beds, please do not let them get on couches, beds, furniture or Mats, if any liquid or solid accidents arises indoors let us know ASAP so we can get it clean before its too late . We take cleaning serious in this listing, any shedding of your pets in linens means taking linens to dry cleaners, and our nearest cleaners are about a hour away. There will be a $150 Fee deducted from your Security Deposit in case we find shedding, liquid or solid waste. If any item is ruined by your pets doing, you will be charged the full cost of that item, just so you know we have chairs and coffee tables that are either custom or antiques worth over 5K. 4. This is a NON-SMOKING property. Due to dry conditions in the Sierra Nevada foothills, fires can be easily sparked by cigarettes. 5. The River Island is in a quiet zone neighborhood, we DO NOT rent the house for loud parties, weddings or social gatherings. We ask that you treat our neighbors with respect by not trespassing, making excessive noise driving over 10MPH on dirt roads, or playing loud music, 10 PM is the cutoff time for any loudness outside for respect to neighbors. 6. The Homeowners/Hosts/Management are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur, nor are they responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. SAFETY: Exercise caution near the river, walkways, steps and trails. Children must supervised by an adult at all times. FOOTWEAR: NO SHOES inside the house and we suggest wearing water shoes when entering the river. Please be careful when stepping on rocks as moss makes them slippery. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. However, light housekeeping service might be available at an additional charge and upon availability. 8. If is hot outside and you are staying over 3 nights, It’s important that you water the potted plants on the house entrance deck. There is a Water Hose in the deck to take care of that. 9. The Rooftops are to be accessed by children only when under adult supervision, PLEASE watch your kids safety and DO NOT lean over the railings. If abscense of rain, between August & October the river might run low and not swimming friendly. We cannot warranty or estimate a particular riverflow… Please refer to the natural swimming activities minutes away from the property in the bottom section of this message. PROPERTY & RIVER WARNING & DISCLAIMER This establishment borders the South Fork River, which in peak months (approximately February-May), can be an extremely fast moving river and potentially deadly. You and all members of your party enter the river, riverbanks and adjacent areas at your sole risk and peril. No lifeguards or trained rescue personnel are on duty. You take full responsibility for the supervision of children and guests at all times. By entering these premises you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners with respect to any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, damages, liabilities, including attorney’s fees, arising out of, or connected with your use of these premises and any injury or death resulting to you or any member of your party.
